Lindsey Buckingham is now doing “react” videos on YouTube with his daughter Leelee, and it turns out that the former Fleetwood Mac singer-guitarist is a fan of Charli XCX’s “Von dutch” clip.
Before playing the video, Leelee asks her 75-year-old dad if he had a “BRAT” summer, to which the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer responds, “The brattiest!”
The pair then start to watch the Grammy-winning song’s video, in which Charli XCX wreaks havoc at an airport, with the rock legend offering commentary like, “Getting kinda saucy already … it’s not a good place to get saucy,” and exclamations like “ouch” and “ewww” when Charli bleeds and spits on the camera lens, respectively.
At one point, Lindsey wonders, “I’m surprised the airport let her do all this stuff,” before concluding, “I thought it was very entertaining. I mean there was so much going on, and all in the context of a normal restrictive environment.” When Leelee asks him what he thinks Charli is really saying in the video, he answers, “She’s saying, ‘Screw you!’”

The Charli XCX edition is the second video in Lindsey and Leelee’s reaction series, with the first being their take on Buckingham’s own 1984 music video “Slow Dancing.”
Meanwhile, Buckingham’s classic song “Holiday Road” that soundtracked the Vacation movies has been remixed for the just-released trailer for Nobody 2 starring Bob Odenkirk. Both the reaction video and the Nobody 2 trailer can be seen below.
