Kona Blue 2022 Ford GT for sale on BaT Auctions – ending August 20 (Lot #205,998)

This 2022 Ford GT was ordered new by the seller via Pat Milliken Ford of Redford Township, Michigan, and now has 1k miles. The car is finished in Kona Blue and was specified with over $96k in optional equipment, including the Exterior Carbon Fiber Gloss Package, the Carbon Red Graphics package, the Dark Energy Interior Upgrade Package, six-point harness anchors, and the “lightweight” Carbon Series Equipment Group 600A, which provided 20″ gloss carbon-fiber wheels, a polycarbonate engine cover, and a titanium tow hook. Power is supplied by a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle. Additional equipment includes an Akrapovič titanium exhaust system, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, butterfly doors, a retractable active rear wing, and a rear diffuser. This Ford GT is offered with the ordering kit, a window sticker, two keys, an outdoor car cover, and a clean Michigan title in the seller’s name.

The Chris Svensson-designed second-generation GT debuted at the 2015 North American International Auto Show and entered production in December 2016 at Multimatic’s Markham, Ontario, assembly facility. This example is finished in Kona Blue, a $30k selection from Ford’s Extended Color Palette. The car was further optioned with the Carbon Red Graphics package, exposed carbon-fiber mirror caps, and gloss carbon-fiber exterior accents. Additional features include LED headlights, a lightweight Gorilla Glass windshield, butterfly doors, a retractable active rear wing, LED taillights, and a rear diffuser. XPEL paint protection film has been applied to the exterior surfaces.

The GT features a carbon-fiber monocoque structure bolted to front and rear aluminum subframes that serve as stressed members for the hydraulically adjustable pushrod suspension system. Variable ride height, front-axle lift system, selectable driving modes, and launch control are standard features.

Staggered-width 20″ gloss carbon-fiber wheels are mounted with 245/35 front and 325/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Braking is handled by red-painted Brembo six-piston monoblock calipers over 15.5” carbon-ceramic discs up front, while four-piston calipers are mounted over 14.1” units out back.

The cabin was optioned with the $30k Dark Energy Interior Upgrade package and features black leather over the Sparco seats with manually reclining carbon-fiber shells. Exposed carbon fiber is visible on the door panels. The fixed-position driver seat is paired with an adjustable pedal box and steering column, and additional equipment includes automatic climate control, six-point harness anchors, and a touchscreen infotainment system. XPEL paint protection film has been applied to the area around the footwell and on the left door sill.

The leather-wrapped F-1-inspired steering wheel fronts paddle shifters and a configurable digital instrument panel. The digital odometer indicates 1k miles, all of which were added during current ownership.

The mid-mounted twin-turbocharged 3.5L EcoBoost V6 features a carbon-fiber engine cover and was factory rated at 660 horsepower and 550 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in August 2024.
