Blu Elettrico 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari for sale on BaT Auctions – ending August 8 (Lot #204,035)

This 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari is one of 499 coupes built between 2013 and 2016 and is said to be one of just three finished in Blu Elettrico and the sole US-market example to carry the color. The car was delivered new in the US via Ferrari of Seattle to a Washington collector who retained it for seven years before it changed hands in 2021 and was later purchased by the selling dealer in 2025. Power is provided by a naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V12 and a KERS-derived electric motor that combined for a factory-rated output of 950 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. Additional features include a seven-speed dual-clutch transaxle, an E-Diff3 electronic differential, a 120-cell lithium-ion battery, magnetorheological dampers, Brembo carbon-ceramic disc brakes, 19″ and 20″ forged alloy wheels, an Inconel exhaust system, carbon-fiber exterior and interior accents, and Beige Honolulu leather interior upholstery. In preparation for the sale, the selling dealer had an annual service performed at Ferrari of Newport Beach and purchased a factory-approved extended warranty on the battery pack. This LaFerrari has 3,262 miles and is now offered as part of Silver Arrow Cars’ Hypercar Holy Trinity Collection in Newport Beach, California, with a Ferrari Yellow Book, a charging unit, a copy of its window sticker, a clean Carfax report, an extended warranty, a luggage set, spare keys, and a clean Ohio title.

Designed under Flavio Manzoni for Centro Stile Ferrari, the LaFerrari was introduced at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show as the newest offering in Ferrari’s tradition of limited-production supercars that included the 288 GTO, F40, F50, and Enzo. The LaFerrari was the company’s first hybrid production model and featured a Kinetic Energy Recovery System derived from Ferrari’s F1 technology. The model’s monocoque chassis was designed by Ferrari F1 technical director Rory Byrne and incorporated four different types of pre-impregnated carbon fiber.

This example’s carbon-fiber bodywork is finished in special-order Blu Elettrico with a black roof panel and an exposed carbon-fiber rear fog lamp cover, mirror stems, and lower panels. Design elements include a front spoiler, scalloped front wheel arches that direct air to radiator inlets on each flank, air intakes atop the rear fenders, and an active aerodynamic system that includes an adaptive rear wing, diffuser flaps, and an underbody vane. Additional features include enamel Scuderia Ferrari door shields, bi-xenon headlights, and a rear parking sensor and camera. An anti-stone-chipping paint film was specified from the factory.

The dark gray five-spoke forged alloy wheels feature center-lock hubs with carbon-fiber covers and are wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Corsa Asimmetrico tires measuring 265/30ZR19 up front and 345/30ZR20 at the rear. Stopping is handled by cross-drilled and ventilated disc brakes measuring 398mm up front and 380mm at the rear with black-painted Brembo six- and four-piston calipers. The brake fluid was flushed in preparation for the sale. Suspension incorporates a double-wishbone front setup and a multi-link rear arrangement, with E-SCM electromagnetic dampers all around. Features include CST traction and stability control, EF1-Trac F1 traction control, multiple driving modes, and electronic speed-sensitive steering.

The 6.3-liter V12 incorporates continuously variable-length inlet ducts to optimize volumetric efficiency, dry-sump lubrication with reed-valve scavenging, and a 13.5:1 compression ratio to deliver 789 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and an E-Diff3 electronic differential. The HY-KERS system incorporates an electric motor that was developed in partnership with Magneti Marelli and is mounted behind the transaxle to provide an additional 161 horsepower and to supplement torque at lower engine rpm. A Hybrid Power Unit controls distribution of power from the engine and motor via two inverters and two DC-DC converters, while power storage is handled by a liquid-cooled 120-cell lithium-ion battery pack that acts as a structural element behind the passenger compartment. The Inconel exhaust system incorporates six-into-one headers. Service in 2023 included replacement of the low-voltage battery and charging port. The oil was changed in preparation for the sale.
